SSGT US ARMY AIR FORCES WORLD WAR II Erwin Kubicek age 87 passed away Saturday, August 13, 2005 at his home in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Praha, Texas January 20, 1918 and was an Air Force Veteran, Civil Service retiree and charter member of the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ellen Haecker Kubicek, daughters Ellen Jane Laswell of Liberty, Texas, Betty Mamori and husband Amir of San Antonio, Mary Liggett and husband Tom of Bedford, Texas, son Rodney Kubicek and wife Kathy of Houston, Texas as well as six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. His wit and wisdom will be missed by all. Visitation will be Monday, August 15th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Porter Loring, 1101 McCullough Ave. Graveside service Tuesday, 9:45 a.m. Fort Sam Houston Cemetery with Military Honors.
