OBIT DIED:--At his home 1 1/2 miles south of Everton, on Monday morning, March 26, 1899, Rev. R. Ramey: aged, 67 years, 11 months and 28 days. Cause of death: heart disease. The subject of this sketch was a member of the Christian Church at Ray Spring, where he held his membership for a number of years. He was an earnest and constant worker for the Lord and was the cause of many souls turning from the downward road to seek the love of God. He had a wife and two children who have preceded him to the glory world. He leaves a wife and nine children also on this side of the river who, with a host of friends, mourn his sudden departure. He was kind and indulgent, and was loved by those who knew him, and will be greatly missed in our community.
