Bio
North Ogden – Edna May Cox, 86, passed away on October 10, 2010 at her home. She was born March 8, 1924 in American Fork, Utah the daughter of George Truitt Wilson and Esther Cartwright Wilson. She graduated from American Fork High School. Edna married Hallie Cox May 29, 1954. Edna was a member of the LDS Church and active in the Relief Society. She was active in the North Ogden Civic League and led the bread pudding fund raiser. She served as treasurer of the Forest Service Pine Tree Club. She loved to sew and had a passion of quilting; she also enjoyed collecting Indian and civil war artifacts. Edna was preceded in death by her husband Hallie and daughter Carrie. She is survived by her son, Wayne Cox; brother Douglas Mayne and sister Arlene Hanks. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 15, 2010 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 14th from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment in the American Fork Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
