Bio
Virginia L. Hrncir, 84, passed away on October 9, 2010 at her home. Virginia was born March 23, 1926 in Boones Mill, Virginia to George Harvey and Ida May King Hall. She had lived in Robstown since her marriage to Wilson R. Hrncir in 1945. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Robstown, the V.F.W. and American Legion Auxiliaries, had been a 4-H Home Economics instructor and enjoyed square dancing in her younger years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson R. Hrncir on August 18, 2010. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ard of Corpus Christi, Texas; her grandchildren, Jason (Laura) Ard and Amy Ard all of San Antonio, Texas; and her sister, Ellen Hall of Roanoke, Virginia. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with the family present from 5:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Barbara Dyke officiating. Burial will follow in Robstown Memorial Park
