Fredrick Glenn White, 87, of Heritage Manor, Colfax, died at 10:45 a.m. Friday (Aug. 23, 1996) at Gibson Community Hospital, Gibson City. Surviving are his wife, Norabelle White, Colfax; and one son, John Richard White, Colfax. Mr. White was born Jan. 11, 1909, in Lawndale Township, a son of John Nelson and Emma Elizabeth Grending White. He married Norabelle Rockwell Feb. 21, 1933, in Colfax. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a twin sister. Mr. White was a master barber for 63 years in Colfax, retiring in 1989. He was a 1926 graduate of Davenport, Iowa, Barber College. A lifetime resident of Colfax, he was a member of Colfax Christian Church, Modern Woodmen of America and 101 Club of Colfax.
