Jack Brennan (1924-1994) Jack Brennan, 70, of Ellsworth, formerly of Lakeside passed away April 24, 1994. Jack Joseph Brennan was born on the ranch north of Lakeside, February 6, 1924, to John and Palos (Johnson) Brennan. Jack and his siblings grew up on the family ranch north of Lakeside and attended Alliance High School. Jack met June Dalton at a dance in Ellsworth and the were married in the Methodist Church in Alliance on August 31, 1947. To this union were born Carol, Brenda, Daniel 'Dan', and Sally. Dan and his wife Donna (Ostrander) Brennan and their boys Chad, Luke, Wade, and Paul lived on the a ranch in the area north of Ellsworth where Dan and Donna currently reside. Jack and June joined Pleasant Point Community Church north of Ellsworth in 1958 and remained faithful members throughout their lives. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and sister Betty Phillips. Jack is survived by his wife of 46 years June, children Carol, Brenda, Dan, and Sally and their spouses, and numerous grandchildren, sister Clara (Joseph) Roland of Santa Fe, New Mexico, brother Frank (Joanne) of Ellsworth, and brother in law Ralph "Mick" Phillips of Kennewick, Washington. Services were held at Pleasant Point Community Church and burial was in the Pleasant Point Cemetery.
