US MARINE CORPS WWIl Served aboard the USS Tennessee in the Pacific and was killed while aboard on 12 April 1945. He was buried at sea. Many years later his family had a memorial service and placed a stone in the Judson Cemetery, Judson, Gregg County, Texas, United States
