Bio

Obit-Gonzales Inquirer Feb. 20, 1908 Slayden, Feb. 19. The remains of Mr. R. L. Hunter were buried in the Hodges cemetery last Thursday morning. The corpse was accompanied here from Houston by his wife, son and Mr. Cottle, his father-in-law. Died in Houston R. L. Hunter, aged 40 years, died in Houston on Monday night and his remains were brought to Slayden on Wednesday for interment in Hodges cemetery. The decedent leaves a wife and one child. His death was due to pneumonia. He had been living in Houston for only a few months, and wad well known in this county, where he had resided for a number of years.
