Bio

Mary Elizabeth Sieverding Beckman's father was Herman Heinrich Sieverding. It is recorded in the baptismal book that his daughter was adopted by Kotter Beckman at birth. She grew up in the Beckmann family and bore that surname. She married Johann Heinrich Uptmoor in 1828.
