s/o Jackson Howell and Maude Flynn From the Fort Worth Star-Telegram , Saturday, March 19, 1994: Alvin J. Howell, a retired employee of General Dynamics, now Lockheed Fort Worth, died Thursday in Fort Worth. He was 84. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Greenwood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park. Mr. Howell was born in Mount Pleasant, Titus County. He worked for GD for 30 years. Mr. Howell was a member of Birchman Baptist Church for 50 years. Survivors: Wife, Thelma Lee Howell of Fort Worth; two sons, Alvin Howell and Kenneth Howell, both of Fort Worth; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
