May 21, 1934 MRS. LINNIE MAE FARLEY, wife of J. W. Farley died at the home of her parents, Mr. & Mrs. W. N. Johnson in Altoga, Saturday, May 19 at 3 :15 p.m. Funeral services were held Sunday at 3 o'clock at Altoga conducted by Rev. J. R. Hilger of Greenville. Interment was made in Altoga Cemetery under the direction of Sam J. Massie Funeral Home. The deceased had been ill for a month. She was 42 years, 11 months, & 11 days old at the time of her passing. Besides her husband and parents, an infant daughter, Johnnie Mae survive as well as the following stepchildren ; Mrs. Bessie Green, Alma Farley, & Mrs. Jack Scribner, all of Altoga, Arlin Farley of McKinney, Mrs. Woody Herron of Chambersville & Mrs. John Airhart of New Life ; two brothers,J. P. & Olin Johnson and a sister, Mrs. Mary Geren, all of Altoga. (Linnie Mae (Johnson) Farley is the 2nd wife of John Will Farley)
