From Find A Grave contributor Herman Cummings on 1FEB2016 Hiram Sturges was born on October 15, 1822, in York, South Carolina, the child of Daniel and Abilissa. He married Holly Furguson on 15 Sep 1847 in Shelby, Tennessee and they had seven children together. He then married Wincie Cynthia Frances Goodwin and they had two children together. He died on March 19, 1886, in Cleveland County, Arkansas, at the age of 63, and was buried there. ----------------
