Elsie M. Shuman Funeral services for Elsie M. Shuman, 87, will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Palms Funeral Home with Gerald Peltier officiating. Burial will follow in the Danbury Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00pm until time of service Wednesday. Elsie was born September 8, 1928 in Danbury to Adolph and Carolyn Novak and passed away Sunday July 31, 2016 in Clute. Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James R. Shuman, daughter, Carrie Shuman, and son, James R. Shuman, Jr. She is survived by her brother Henry Novak and wife Mary, of Danbury, sister, Shirley Owens of Angleton and numerous nieces and nephews. “Home at last, happy to be with my loving family.” Contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Catholic Church building fund.
