Bio

Martha married (1) Sampson Walker, on September 1, 1840, in Noxubee County, Mississippi. They were the parents of 10 children: John James, Mary Ann, Nancy Jane, William Alexander, Frances Elizabeth, Samuel Organ, Margaret Louisa, Permelia Atlina, Napoleon Buchanan, and Sarah Malissa Walker. Sampson Walker died in the Civil War while serving the Confederacy. Martha married (2) James Sorrell, about 1864. Their children are Martha Emiline and Isabel Sorrell.
