Bio
Glenn E. Nass, 76, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2010. Mr. Nass was born in Robertsdale, AL on July 25, 1934. He graduated from the University of Miami in 1956. He served in the US Army with the 20th Engr. Brigade. Mr. Nass was a member of SAE Fraternity, Kiwanis International (past president), Free Masons and a member Olive Baptist Church. He was a loving and generous husband, father and friend. Mr. Nass was a successful entrepreneur and business owner establishing Land Services of Fla, LLC in 2001, with business partner Skip Butler. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marion "Penny"; his children, Kim Surles (Mike), and Lisa Nass; grandchildren, Shannon Cauley (Mark) and Steven Surles (Cassey); great grandchildren, Patrick and Grace Cauley; and sister, Hattie Lou Burks. Visitation will be held 10am Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Olive Baptist Church, with the funeral service beginning at 11:00am. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery, Robertsdale, AL at 2:30pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Village Ministries of Olive Baptist Church, 1836 Olive Road, Pensacola, FL 32514.
