Lindle Rites Set Today Mass for William Arthur Lindle, 71, will be said at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Rev. Kevin Heyburn, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Rosary was said at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in North's Memorial Chapel. Mr.. Lindle, longtime Taylor County farmer, died at 10:26 p.m. Monday in St. Ann Hospital following an illness of about six months. Pallbearers will be C.W. Presswood, John Mees, Jack Goulding, Lewis Prew, Fred Joeris and Emil Ogden. Born in September of 1896 in Ennis, he moved to Rowena with his family as a small boy. They moved to Abilene in 1918. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Tom Leask of Ennis and Mrs. L.V. Hagan of Clyde, and Miss Mary Lindle of Rt. 1; four brothers, Alfred of Fort Worth, Francis of Ennis, Henry and Bernard, both of Rt. 1, Abilene; and a number of nieces and nephews.
