Bio

Amos Parker married Linnie Coker on June 24, 1883, in Polk County, Texas Obituary in Lufkin Daily News, Feb. 24, 1929 (courtesy of Judy Murphy #47209326) Funeral services for A. B. Parker, 68 years old, who dropped dead while plowing Monday, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Naraway church, Rev. Dr. Durham officiating. Mr. Parker is survived by his wife, two sons and four daughters. The sons are Otha and Ezra. The daughters are Mrs. R. P. Horton of Merkel, Mrs. C. L. Fitts of Ratcliff, Mrs. S. L. White of Diboll and Mrs. E. A. McGilvra of Peavy Switch. Mr. Parker had lived in this county for many years. Burial was in the Naraway Cemetery under the direction of Humason-Berry.
