Bio
Earl Bonds , 80, of Iuka died Wednesday, February 23, 2000 at the Iuka Hospital. He was a member of Snowdown United Methodist Church and also a member of the Methodist Men's Club. He was retired from Reynold's Metals in Muscle Shoals, AL after 40 years of service, and a Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Van Bonds, and a brother, Russell Bonds. Mr. Bonds is survived by his wife, Virginia Bonds of Iuka; two daughters, Martha Jane Curtis of Iuka, Betty Robinson and her husband Charlie of Iuka; 2 sisters, Billie Moss of Iuka, Beckie Jourdan of Tishomingo; one brother, Rudolph Bonds of Tishomingo; seven grandchildren, Keith Curtis, Jim Curtis, Babs Curtis, Anthony Robinson, Blake Robinson, all of Iuka, Rodney Robinson of Holly Springs, Ms and Tara Curtis of Corinth, Ms. and 2 great grandchildren, James Christian Curtis and Seth Curtis, both of Iuka. Visitation will be Thursday 5 - 9 p.m. February 24, 2000 at Cutshall Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, February 25, 2000 at the Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. W. T. Dexter and Rev. Dale Hathorn officiating. Burial will be in Snowdown Pallbearers: Bobby Johnson, Bobby Jourdan, Gene Worsham, Malcolm Brown, Carroll Borden, Donnie Holland. Honorary Pallbearers: J. E. Hudson, Jack Thorne, R. K. Thorne, Donnie Williams and George Goldsmith.
