Bio
Jeffie's death certificate shows her father as Grant Powell and her mother as Florence Billingsley. Census records show a Jeffie Billingsly/Billingsley of Johnson County, Texas as the daughter of Grandison and Florence Billinglsy. Further census of Menard County shows Jeffie "Powell", as the wife of William M. Powell. Checking the cemetery, I find Jeffie is buried next to William (with same headstone) Find-A-Grave Contributor: Laron Billingsley (#48318642) sent the following information on Jeffie: "According to family records Jeffie Billingsley is the daughter of Grandison Granville and Florence Lacellous Harris. Jeffie married William M. Powell 20 Aug 1891." They had ten children: Bessie Powell - Aug 1892 in TX Ada Powell - 7 Dec 1893 in TX Laura E.
