Laurel Land Funeral Home and Cemetery Dallas, Texas Cawthon, Derward "Red", age 72. Survived by a brother, Jasper Cawthon; numerous nieces, nephews, and many loving friends. Services 4:00 p.m., Saturday, July 24, 1993, Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Interment Laurel Land Memorial Park. He was co-owner of Cawthon Brothers Service Station in Oak Cliff for 38 years.
