Wichita Falls Times Wichita Falls, Texas · Thursday, March 25, 1982 Services for Ancel R. New, 47, who died Tuesday in a Wichita Falls hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Hampton-Vaughan Funeral Home. The Rev. Jerry Parker, pastor of Jefferson Street Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery. He was born Nov. 21, 1934, in Electra. He was safety superintendent for Dowell Chemical Co. and was a Baptist. He had lived in Wichita Falls since 1961. Survivors include his wife, Alice; two stepdaughters, Deborah Fay Tedford and Sandra Jo Tedford, both of Wichita Falls; a son, Mike of Providence, R.I.; his mother, Vera of Wichita Falls; two sisters, Mrs. Sybil Cottle of Wichita Falls and Mrs. Mildred Suggs of Florida; a half-sister, Mrs. Juanita Stovall of Wichita Falls; a halfbrother, Elmer of Breaux, La.; and a grandchild.
