Bio

Born in Sangamon County, Illinois, G.L. Binion lived in Wise County and Clay County before moving to Wichita Falls in 1929. An elder in the Buchanan Street Church of Christ, he was active in church work frequently supplying for the minister during his absence. He was the proprietor of Binion's Laundry in Wichita Falls since 1936. Surviving are his wife; three sons - Floyd, Cleddie, and Ozell Binion; four daughters - Mrs. Grady Chaddick, Miss Florine Binion, Mrs. S.E. Kinninghaw; Mrs. Arthur Blair, Jr; four stepsons - Billy, Herbert, Freddie and Sam Harrison; one brother - J.W. Binion. Wichita Daily Times July 3, 1945
