Bio

Alice Kennedy Thornton, 91, formerly of 1422 Wilson St., died at 2 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 1997, at St. Joseph Nursing Home in Lacon. Born March 4, 1906, in Lewis, Tenn., to Math and Bettie Kilpatrick McClain, she married Fred J. Thornton in April 1932. He died in September 1942. She also was preceded in death by three brothers and eight sisters. Surviving is one son, James of Chillicothe. Peoria Journal Star (Peoria, IL) - Wednesday, November 12, 1997
