Bio
PFC Ferguson #2336085 MOS:0311 Rifleman. Thomas was living in Wills Point, Texas with his family when he went to Dallas Recruiting Office and enlisted in the Marines 12 July 1967. When Thomas arrived in Vietnam 17 December 1967, he was assigned to Golf Company, 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division. Golf Company was on Hill 37 when they were hit by hostile mortar fire, 4 kilometers west southwest of Cam Lo Village. Thomas died as a result of fragmentation wounds to the body from hostile mortar fire. Survived by his parents, Joe W and Rosie M Ferguson of Route #4, Wills Point, Texas.
