Jordan - parent links made by suggestion; also per census, and obituary. ------------------------------ Henry Herman Mangum -- Lufkin Daily News, The (TX) - Thursday, October 9, 2008 (EDITED) Henry Herman Mangum, of Lufkin, was born the son of the late Soloman W. and Nancy E. (Bennett) Mangum. Henry was employed at Entex Gas Company (now Center Point Energy) in 1955 and retired in May 1992. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict, and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Rachel Mangum; daughter and son-in-law, Melody and David Palmore; son, Preston Lee Mangum; brother and sister-in-law, Wiley P. and Margaret Mangum; and a number of nieces and nephews. Services for Henry will be held October 10, 2008, in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. (obit courtesy contributor BAppleby 50587553)
