Bio

Lorenzo Dial Shoaf was the son of Henry Washington Shoaf and Christena Livengood of Davidson County, North Carolina. Lorenzo had four brothers. 1. Jacob S. Shoaf who moved to Bell County, Texas and then to Milam County, Texas. 2. Thomas Franklin Shoaf who stayed in Davidson County, North Carolina. 3. Cornelius Shoaf stayed in Davidson County, North Carolina. 4. Roswell Shoaf who died young in North Carolina. Lorenzo Shoaf married Rosanna Hazeltine Harmon on 13 March 1881 at Midway Township in Davidson County, North Carolina. Lorenzo and Rosanna had 2 son, Perry Austin Shoaf and Ernest Snow Shoaf. Lorenzo and Rosanna moved to Texas in in 1900 they were living in Rosebud, Texas. It is not known when Rosanna died. Lorenzo married Mrs. Annie Pendergraft on 26 April 1908 in Beckham County, Oklahoma. In 1920 Lorenzo's wife was named Laura E.
