She was born September 12, 1915 to the late John and Lois Mae Platt in Latexo, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. "Brab" Brabham, in 1993. Modene is survived by her children, Larry Brabham, Brenda Gibbs, Sandy Terry, Marilyn Holland, and Donna Lange; her sister and brother-in-law, Rosie and John Simmons; her four children-in-law, Ann Brabham, Bob Gibbs, Phil Terry, and Ron Holland; grandchildren, Michelle Brabham, Kenny Brabham, Bryce Gibbs, John Terry, Shelley Park, Sara Holland, and Meghann Jones; and six great-grandchildren.
