Published in the Ord Quiz, Ord, Nebraska, Thursday, October 1, 1931, Page 8, column 2 FREDERICK CARMODY Arcadia, Sept. 28 -(Special)- Funeral services for Frederick Carmody, who passed away last Thursday after a single day's illness, were held at the Methodist church here at 2 pm Sunday and were conducted by the pastor, Rev. R.O. Gaither. Mr. Carmody was born March 3, 1877 at Friend but at the age of seven came to Valley county with his parents and this was his home ever since. He leaves a widow and five children, Crystal, Oval, Seth, Mildred and Max, all of whom were with him until the end. He also leaves three brothers and four sisters and all were present at the funeral.
