Bio

Rutha Jane Smith married Thomas G. Barnett 10 Feb 1859. He joined a unit of the Confederate Army but died 22 Jun 1862 before taking part in the war. His burial site is unknown. They had two children: John G. Barnett and Thomas Ann Barnett Clark.
