George Sharp, Former County Resident Dies George E. sharp, 81, resident of 3736 Chenault, Fort Worth, died Tuesday at 8;03 pm after a 4 month illness. Sharp was a former resident of Denton County. Funeral services will be held at Sheppard Funeral Home Chapel at 2 pm Thursday. Burial will be in Old Hall Cemetery near Lewisville. Born in Madison County, July 19, 1870, Sharp was a retired farmer. Surviving are two sons, Dave Sharp of Denton and William Sharp of Fort Worth; five daughters, Mrs. Dovie Cox of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; Mrs. Annie Lynn of Irving, Mrs. Ella Gregory of Amarillo, Mrs Bertha Wardlow of Aubrey and Mrs. Rillie Dillon of Fort Worth; three sisters, Mrs. Willie Whitley of Birmingham, Alabama, Mrs. Attie Bell of Alabama and Mrs. Thelma Brown of Fort Worth; two brothers, Shelby Sharp and Raymond Sharp of Dallas, 19 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
