A Union Civil War headstone was to be supplied for John F Troxell by Gross Brothers, Lee, Massachusetts, contract dated 1891.

Bio

John F Troxell homesteaded in Loup Co Nebraska about 1879 and lived there until his death in 1888. He was buried in the Taylor Nebraska cemetery in 1888. Family Search records indicate he was buried in the Emmitsburg Cemetery, Frederick Co, Maryland, but he is not listed in that cemetery.
