Grand Island (Nebraska) Independent Tuesday, 26 April 1977 BURWELL - Erwin G. Graham, 79, of Burwell died Sunday in a local hospital. Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at United Methodist Church in Burwell, with the Rev. Richard Shapland officiating. Burial will be in Kent Cemetery in Loup County. Visitation will be Wednesday after 5 p.m. at the Fleming Funeral Home in Burwell. Memorials are suggested to United Methodist Church building fund. Mr. Graham was born Feb. 1, 1898, (sic) in Loup County to ira and Carrie Ogden Graham. He farmed in Loup and Garfield counties near the Kent Community. His first wife, the former Frances Sebesta, died in 1960. He married Margaret Gillespie on Aug. 26, 1962, at Burwell, where they lived afterwards. Mr. Graham was a member of the United Methodist Church at Burwell. Survivors include his widow; four sons, Raymond of Sweet Home, Ore., Eldon of Portland, Ore., Lester of Coos Bay, Ore., and Larry of Clute, Tex.; five daughters, Mrs. Ethel McCoy of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Nadene Wheeler of Carmichael, Calif., Mrs. Elaine McKinney of Juniata, Mrs. Dorothy Willard of St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Karolyn Cashatt of Valley; a sister, Ms. Edna Maring of Burwell; four stepdaughters; one step-son, 33 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
