Bio

YOAKUM -- Mrs. F. W. (Carrie) Kunetka, 85-year-old long-time resident of Cuero, died at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in a Shiner hospital. Mrs. Kunetka was organizer of the first Order of Eastern Star Chapter in Cuero and was active in the organization for many years. She was born on Jan. 10, 1880, in LaGarto in Live Oak County. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Buffington Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Walter Guin and the Rev. John A. Jacobs, both of Cuero, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Yoakum. Surviving are her husband, F. W. Kunetka of Cuero; three sisters, Mrs. H. Seekamp of Yoakum, Mrs. J. R. Chandler of Kingsville and Mrs. J. E.
