Bio

Berry A. Starnes, 43 years old, died Monday afternoon at a local sanitarium. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Paulette Starnes; two daughters, Mrs. J. C. Badgett and Mrs. M. P. Long; two sons, Clarence and Paul Dean, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Starnes, all of Dallas; by two sisters Mrs. W. D. Caldwell of Tyler and Mrs. O. D. Whittenburg of Florence, and by one brother D. B. Starnes of Cleburne. Funeral services will be held at 5 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the family residence, 2542 West Twelfth Street in Oak Cliff, with the Rev. Guy F. Jones officiating. Burial will be in the new Oak Cliff Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cecil Hall, Will Marshall, Frank Miller, E. W. McDonald, J. D. Jones, and J. H. Randolph.
