Bio

Ola May Lynch, 95, Leavenworth, died January 25, 1988 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany.She was born on December 24, 1892 in Cape Sandy, Indiana. She was the former postmistress at Cape Sandy, having worked there for 20 years. She also owned and operated a grocery store at Cape Sandy and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Leroy Lynch; a son, Merrill Kemp of Clarksville; a daughter, Norma Crews of New Albany; five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. The funeral was held Thursday at 1 pm at Dillman-Green Funeral home, Marengo. Burial was in East Cemetery.
