Alvin Tomas Murphy, 80, of Hutto, died Sunday, September 5, 2010, at the Heritage Villa Nursing Home in Dayton. Graveside services will be held at ??, Saturday, September 11, 2010, at the Machu Cemetery in Granger. Visitation will be held from ?? to ??, Friday, at the Providence Funeral Home in Taylor. Local arrangements are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Alvin was born March 23, 1930 in Taylor, to parents; Frank and Mary Valis Sralla, and has been a lifelong resident of Williamson County. He was a retired cotton farmer and enjoyed fishing, hunting, raising cattle, and helping others. Mr. Murphy was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Clifton, Frank, Jerome, Johnnie, and Benny Sralla. He is survived by his sister: Ruby Pittman of Hardin, brother: Walter Sralla of LaMarque, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives,
