Married Carl D. Woodard 19 June 1926 in Gregg County. "The Longview Daily News" February 2, 1930 Mrs. Carl Woodard, age 20, died at the home of her parents, in the Judson community Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held from the Judson church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by the pastor the Rev. James Morgan. Mrs. Woodard is survived by her husband and parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. G. Sparks, five brothers and four sisters as follows: Jack Sparks, Johnnie Sparks, and Mrs. Raymond Collins of the Harmony Grove community, Gus Sparks of Glenwood, Roy Sparks of Elderville, Tommie Sparks of Hallsville, Mrs. Bruce Fisher and Mrs. Jim Smith of Longview and Mrs. Bullock of Abilene. She was a devoted member of the Judson Baptist church.
