Bio
Mary D. Bevevino, 96, a resident of the Warren Manor Nursing Home and formerly of 210 McPherson St., Warren, died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at 12:35 p.m. after an extended illness. She was born August 15, 1913 in Warren, to the late Andrew and Theresa Kopko Kavinski. She grew up in Clarendon and was a lifelong Warren area resident. Mary was a member of Holy Redeemer R.C. Church and a volunteer with Warren General Hospital. She always enjoyed cooking and her family was the center of her life. She is survived by five children, Marcia Siegel and husband William of Pittsburgh, Pa., Linda Ditka and husband Ashton of Russell, Mary M. Humphrey and husband James of Pittsburgh, Pa., William A. Bevevino and wife Rita of Warren, James W. Bevevino and wife Nancy of Orchard Park, N.Y.; two sisters, Julia Albaugh and Dorothy Wycoff, both of Warren; 15 grandchildren and 23 greatgrandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Bevevino, whom she married November 5, 1936 in Clarendon; six brothers, Joseph, John, Stephen, Michael, Charles and Patrick Kavinski; two sisters, Katherine Kavinski and Anna Rossi.
