Bio

Grand Island (Nebraska) Independent Thursday, 14 June 1923 James A. Woods, a member of the Soldiers Home at Burkett, Neb., died at that institution about 5 a.m., Thursday, after a rather extended illness. Death resulted from senility and other ailments incident thereto. He was born in Ohio and was aged 81 years. His wife had preceded him in death. Several sons survive, pending whose arrival definite arrangements for the funeral have been deferred. Provided by contributor diaNEB
