Bio

Rhodes Rosa Rhodes, 85, a native of Mulky Town, Ill., and resident of Robertsdale, died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010. She was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends, crocheting and sewing. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hillery H. Rhodes. Survivors include a daughter, Sharon (Charles) Pinkert of Robertsdale; two sons, Michael (Carol) Rhodes of Robertsdale and Donald (Teresa) Rhodes of Fairhope; and Patricia Durant of Robertsdale; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren Visitation begins at 9 a.m. with funeral mass at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3 at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Father William James officiating. Burial will follow at Baldwin Memorial Cemetery, Robertsdale. The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church or School, P.O. Box 1367, Robertsdale, AL 36567.
