Obituary: Elmer Ray Havranek, 92, passed away July 3, 2015 at West Haven, Utah. He was born July 5, 1922 in Hemingford, Nebraska the son of John and Kristine F. (Liska) Havranek. Elmer married Leona M. Westlake in Reno, Nevada. He served in World War II in the U.S. Air Force. Elmer traveled the world as part of his job. During Vietnam he traveled to Germany often to negotiate contracts for Aircraft Maintenance. He retired from McClellan Air Force Base. Surviving are his son Richard (Cheryl) Havranek, three grandchildren, Greg (Jackie), Loren (Teresa), Michelle (Debbie), 7 great-grandchildren , 3 great-great-grandchildren , and 2 are on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son Lauren, five sisters and three brothers. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bridget Catholic Church.
