NATIVE KANSAN DIES Mrs. Anice M. Willis, Born Near Mulvane, Resided at Udall 50 Years. Mrs. Anice M. Willis, 68, born September 21, 1876, in Cowley county, near Mulvane, and a resident of Udall the past 50 years, died Saturday in a local hospital. She and her husband, George W. Willis, who survives, have been making their home for the past eight months with their daughter, Mrs. Nina Williams, 777 South St. Clair. Mrs. Willis was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hughey Miller, one of the pioneer families in the Mulvane-Udall community. She was a member of the Congregational church at Udall the past half century. She and her husband have been widely known in that part of Kansas for many years. In addition to her husband the daughter, Mrs. Willis, at 777 South St. Clair, she leaves five other daughters, Mrs. Ida Weekley, Ripon, Cal., Mrs. Leona Dodge, 231 North Fern, Mrs. Una Clayborne, Stockton, Cal., Miss Mildred Willis, 777 South St. Clair, and Mrs. Dorothy Carlson, Udall, and four sisters, Mrs. Nora Taylor, Mrs. Della Hatcher, and Mrs. Alice Shull, all of Udall, and Mrs. Dora Bailey, Peoria, Ill.
