Mrs Ruth Fletcher Mckinney, 69 DEATHS Advocate, The (Baton Rouge, LA) - Tuesday, July 12, 1988 Died 12:55 p.m. Sunday, July 10,1988, at Woman's Hospital. She was 69, a native of Yantis, Texas, and resident of Baton Rouge. She was a retired office manager of C.B. McKinney Swimming Pool Company. Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home Guardian Chapel, after 9 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Ace McVea. Entombment in Greenoaks Mausoleum. Survived by husband, C.B. McKinney, Baton Rouge; two daughters, Avis "Tootsie" Fontana, Baton Rouge, and Charlene Spencer, Tucson, Ariz.; two sisters, Ann Cole, Tyler, Texas, and Betty Renfro, Vidalia; two brothers, R.C. Fletcher, Orange, Texas, and Bill Fletcher, St. Joe; and six grandchildren. She was a member of Weller Avenue Baptist Church.
