Russell married Mary "Polly" Wiley on 13 Dec 1848. Mary was daughter of John Nixon and Jean Nelson Wiley. On 1870 Census Russell is shown as a gunsmith. Russell Samuel Sellers Bull is buried on the south side of the road (Hwy 172) along with several slaves. This location is right before the road Y's & one route goes to Hackleburg & the other to Phil Campbell. Graves are about 100 yards south/southeast of where Hwy 172 Y's and on the south side of Hwy 172.
