Obituary printed Dec. 14, 1961 in The Enterprise, Blair, Nebraska Mrs. Schneekloth To Be Buried Friday Mrs. Sophia C. Schneekloth, who was born at Oldenberg, Germany, passed away at the Memorial Community Hospital in Blair December 12, 1961, at the age of 80 years. Mrs. Schneekloth was the widow of Henry Schneekloth, who passed away ten years earlier. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. from St. John's Lutheran Church, Bennington, with interment at the German Cemetery. The Hadan Mortuary at Bennington is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Schneekloth is survived by a son Arthur Schneekloth of Blair; and four daughters, Mrs. Hans Hoff and Mrs. George Muller of Omaha, Mrs. Charles Mohr and Mrs. Herbert Cohrs of Bennington, 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; a brother D.H. Luschen of Omaha; sisters, Mrs. Johanna Wilke, Sidney, Nebraska and Mrs. Lena Cohrs of Trenton, Nebraska. *** Obituary courtesy of the Washington County Genealogical Society.
