His mother was Hannah Elizabeth Steadham Tunstall. Hannah was born in Mississippi and died in Rosefield, Louisiana. Peyton's first marriage was to Susan Brewton 23 December 1882, she died in 1883. His second wife Laura Sturgis 8 November 1885. Death date not know. He married Fannie 13 September 1923. Peyton Edmond Tunstall was a 82 year old retired farmer when he passed away in Crockett.
