OBITUARY - The Baytown (TX) Sun - Sunday, 16 Jul 1967: S. Ross Williams S. Ross Willisms, 75, of Cedar Bayou, died at 5:40 am.m Saturday in a Baytown Hospital. He was born Nov 3, 1891, at Barbers Hill and had lived all his life in Chambers County. He was a Mont Belvieu merchant and cattleman, a member of Cedar Bayou Church of Christ and Cedar Bayou Masonic Lodge No 321, AF&AM. His mother was the first white child to be born in Mont Belvieu. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ingre Williams of Cedar Bayou; five sons, Everett Williams and Clay Fouts of Houston, Rollie Williams of Baytown, Paul and Douglas Williams of Mont Belvieu; one brother, Ira Williams of Mont Belvieu, and one sister, Rowena Stubbs of Channelview. Six grandchildren also survive him. J. W. Davidson of Cedar Bayou Church of Christ and Jack Arvin of Missouri Street Church of Christ in Baytown will officiate at the service. Interment will be in Cadar Bayou Masonic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews, Darrell Williams, Bobby Joe Austin, Herschell Williams, Floyd, Buddy and Thurman Williams.
