OBITUARY - The Baytown (TX) Sun - Sunday, 10 Dec 1972 Louie Ilfrey Kelley, 63, of 2325 Kilgore Road, died at 9:40 a.m. Friday in a hospital in Baytown. He was a lifelong area resident and was a machinist for Ashland Chemical Co. He was a member of Cedar Bayou Masonic Lodge No. 321 and Central Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Winnie Kelley of Baytown; a daughter, Mrs. Janice Sherman and a son-in-law, Billy D Sherman, both of Baytown; two brothers, Eddie Kelley and Morris Kelley, both of Baytown; three sisters, Mrs. Jo Vista Rheaume of Baytown, Mrs. Marvel Collins of Houston and Mrs. Velma George of Galveston. Grandchildren Gerald Wayne, Joh David and Cindy Sherman, all of Baytown, also survive. Services were at 3 p.m. Saturday at Earthman Chapel, with the Rev. Billy Joe Tate and the Rev. E. R. Burns officiating. Burial was in Cedar Bayou Masonic Cemetery. Graveside rites were conducted by Masonic Lodge No. 321. Pallbearers were Harvey Powell, C. W. Plato, Bill Jones, Lee Alexander, W. P. Lamb and Al Davis.
