Viola Havel Gregorius Viola Havel Gregorius, 91, a native of Minnesota and lifelong resident of Fairhope, died Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010. She was a longtime member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. She was an avid gardener and seamstress and loved going to yard sales. Survivors include her husband of 72 years, Vincent M. Gregorius, of Fairhope; four sons, Donald V. (Juanita) Gregorius of Spanish Fort, Richard E. (Lorena) Gregorius and David A. (Elizabeth) Gregorius both of Fairhope, and Vincent M. Gregorius Jr. of Foley; daughter, Shirley E. (Pat) Bankester of Bay Minette; sister, Mildred Engstrom of Fairhope; brother, Wilbur Havel of Silverhill; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 23 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Fairhope. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope. The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Lawrence Catholic Church Building Fund. Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Fairhope. Active Pallbearers were Donald Gregorius, Jr., Tim Gregorius, Chris Gregorius, Taylor Gregorius, Josh Gregorius, and Jeff Wolfe. Honorary Pallbearers were Blake Owens, Connor Owens, Dylan Carlisle, Alex Gregorius, and Jonathan Gregorius. Interment followed in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
