Lura M. Wiedenkofer Lura Mae Wiedenkofer, 49, of St. Louis, formerly of Adair County died early this morning (October 4, 1985) in St. John's Hospital in St. Louis. Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Monday afternoon (October 7, 1985) in the Fohn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ringo Point Cemetery. ------------ Lura Mae Wiedenkofer Lura Mae Wiedenkofer, 49, of St. Louis, formerly of Adair County passed away Friday (October 4, 1985) in St. John's Hospital in St. Louis. The daughter of Charles Nelson and Clara Mills Snyder, she was born March 18, 1936, in Kirksville. On October 10, 1958, in Kirksville, she was married to Kevin Wiedenkofer who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Lynn Wiedenkofer of the home; two brothers, Ira Snyder of Green Castle and James H. Snyder of Englewood, Colorado; five sisters, Ellen Billington of Green Castle; Dorsi Albertson of Eldorado, Kansas, Ramah Billington of Green Castle; Maxine Shafer of Novinger and Orvilla Phipps of Rangely, Colorado and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Pearlie Snyder and one sister, Gladys Santarelli. Mrs. Wiedenkofer was reared in Adair county where she received her education. During her earlier years she resided in this area including Macon. In the 1960's she moved to Sedalia where she lived until five years ago when she moved to St. Louis. Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Monday afternoon (October 7, 1985) in the chapel of the Fohn Funeral Home. The Rev. Archie Cooper will conduct the services. Music will be provided by Charles ("Bud") Reese, singing, "Precious Memories" and "One Day At A Time." He will be accompanied by Cheyrl Newland, organist. Burial will be in Ringo Point Cemetery. Casket bearers will be: Daniel Shafer, Russell Billington, Mitchell Albertson, Darryl Shafer, Billy Joe Snyder and Gordon Billington. Visitation was held from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. Saturday (October 5, 1985) in the White-Mullens Mortuary, St. Louis.
